Panta rhei – Everything flows! The ancient Greeks had already made this important discovery about the nature of the world. But is was presumably never as relevant as today, precisely in the business context. Change is taking place everywhere. And a huge number of transformation projects are being carried out in its wake. However, the transformations are being implemented in a fragmentary manner. In the past, this procedure was successful, because transformations only impacted the individual departments. This is now different: Individual changes often influence the entire organization. The two opposites agility and stability must now be brought into harmony.
If companies want to achieve this, two aspects must be considered: Firstly, they must perceive the people in the organization with all their interests and needs – and not merely as a resource. And, secondly, they must view the many individual transformations from an all-encompassing perspective. For this purpose, the systematic model "integral organization" is appropriate.
In our MHPDeepDive "Integral Organization: The Future of the Transformation", we will discuss the challenges arising from the current situation regarding transformation and why the previously viable tools and approaches to solutions are no longer fit for purpose.
