Drachenboot Cup 2025: MHP once again main and boat sponsor

MHP GRISU committed to team spirit, exercise, and regional ties

  • On September 6 and 7, 2025, the 6th Drachenboot Cup will be held in Wolfsburg
  • Management and IT consultancy MHP is once again main and boat sponsor
  • MHP colleagues from “Team GRISU” will be competing again this year with precision and fighting spirit

Wolfsburg – This year’s Drachenboot Cup is being held on the lake known as Allersee in Wolfsburg on 6 and 7 September. The management and IT consultancy MHP is continuing its involvement in 2025 as a proud main and boat sponsor as well as an active participant in the event. MHP is thus underlining not only its commitment to exercise, community, and sport, but also its close ties to the region. MHP has been a partner of Wolfsburg Canoe Club since the beginning.

Participating in the event with its own “Team GRISU” is an integral part of this. This year, 22 MHP colleagues – 20 paddlers, one team member on the drum, and one at the helm – are taking on the sporting challenge filled with motivation and team spirit.

Dr. Jan Wehinger, partner and manager of MHP in Wolfsburg, stressed: “The Drachenboot Cup is all about determination, community, togetherness, and being in sync. That’s because a dragon boat can only move through the water swiftly and efficiently if everyone works in time – team spirit in action. It is precisely this way of working together – highly motivated, focused, and collaborative – that is also important to us at MHP. Our ‘Team GRISU’ is looking forward to returning to the water with this fighting spirit at this year’s race and sharing it with the spectators.”

43 teams are entering

The races are taking place on a six-lane regatta course on the southern shore of Allersee. A total of 43 teams are expected to compete against each other in various events – including short-distance sprints over 100 meters and long-distance races over 1,000 and 2,000 meters. The Drachenboot Cup is organized by Wolfsburg Canoe Club and provides an outstanding opportunity to celebrate team spirit and sporting achievement.
