MHP Space Report
The unresolved equation between scaling and industrialization logic.
Europe is facing a structural challenge: scaling requires industrialization, yet the sector remains largely project-driven. At the same time, 74% of respondents expect a significant expansion of production capacities, while 66% assess current scaling capabilities as low or limited.
This reveals a central contradiction: Europe’s space industry is technologically strong, yet its industrial structures make growth complex and capital-intensive. The key question is therefore no longer just “project or product,” but how repeatability, standardization, and scaling can be organized within highly complex space projects.
Preview of the Report
The full MHP Space Report will be published in the coming weeks. In the meantime, our preview already provides an important snapshot of the findings. Discover:
- Why project-based logic limits the growth of the European space sector
- The role of scaling for competitiveness and sovereignty
- Why a hybrid model between project and product logic is emerging
- Which structural barriers are currently slowing down industrialization
