IT consultants are lending a hand.

Since 2010, employess from MHP have been supporting the Münchner Tafel aid organisation and gaining a new outlook on life as a result.

Collecting foodstuffs with the delivery truck early in the morning, delivering this to the distribution points and then actually handing it out to those in need – since 2010, employees from the process and IT consultancy firm, Mieschke Hofmann und Partner (MHP), have been supporting the Münchner Tafel aid organisation in this task. The consultants, in this connection, not only change their suits for jeans and jumpers, but also get to see life from a very different perspective. Like Robert Metz: "In our private lives and projects, we are always faced with challenges or have our worries. During my day helping out at the Münchner Tafel aid organisation, I have met people, who are glad to get a simple loaf of bread, because they just can't afford it. It gave me a lot to think about on the way home."

That our consultants assume social responsibility, are active in this conneciton themselves and see the world from a different angle is very important to us here at MHP. For this reason, the company systematically arranges social placements as part of its further training program "MHP Academy". Up to now, 120 of our managers have rolled up their sleeves and actively participated in different nonprofit organisations – 12 of these at the Münchner Tafel aid organisation.
