Ludwigsburg - In 2020, a year dominated by the Corona pandemic, the MHP Group achieved a consolidated turnover of 502 million euros (IFRS). The Porsche subsidiary was thus able to maintain the level of the previous year. In view of the massive and global economic upheavals, this stability is an extraordinarily good result. Business with companies in the mobility and manufacturing sectors again accounted for the majority of sales. The number of employees also remained stable. At the end of 2020, MHP employed 2,891 people at 20 locations worldwide.
Team spirit as a key success factor
"I am very pleased that we have come through the crisis so well," says Marc Zimmermann, CFO at MHP. "We have done a lot to achieve this and have prepared well for a possible crisis in recent years - anticipating various scenarios. In my view, however, the decisive factor was ultimately that we all stood together as One Team - our employees and our customers. We are enormously grateful to them for that."
As a result, MHP was able to set up effective crisis management very quickly as a team and switch work to remote mode in a very short time. 98 percent of all projects were continued remotely at peak times. In addition, crisis management was accompanied by comprehensive communication, which ensured transparency while strengthening unity.
Growth in the 2021 financial year
Marc Zimmermann: "This year we are celebrating our 25th anniversary. We are very pleased that the signals are clearly pointing in the direction of growth. The figures for the first quarter are extremely positive. And we have set ourselves ambitious targets to continue to reach our 2025 goals. We also want to attract a larger number of employees again. We are benefiting from the fact that even in the crisis year we were perceived as an attractive employer that combines security and stability with innovation and drive. Overall, therefore, we are very confident."
