The trend toward the cloud continues unabated. According to the Bitkom Cloud-Monitor 2022 study, 84 per cent of the companies surveyed are already using the cloud, and another 13 per cent are considering using it in the near future. The scope of cloud usage is also growing. By 2025, 60 per cent of all applications used by the companies surveyed are expected to be moved to the cloud. Yet for many organizations, cloud usage remains complex and confusing. Some companies fail to migrate due to lack of know-how, while others incur significant additional costs.
