SMMT Regional Forum South East

The SMMT Regional Forum South East takes place on Wednesday 15 October 2025 at the Oxford Belfry Hotel. Hosted by the Society of Motor Manufacturers & Traders (SMMT), the voice of the UK automotive industry, the forum provides a platform for discussion on the opportunities and challenges shaping the sector.

SMMT is one of the UK’s largest and most influential trade associations, representing the breadth of the industry - from R&D and vehicle manufacturing to technology, servicing and the wider supply chain. Its remit is to support, safeguard and champion UK automotive businesses, promoting their interests with government, stakeholders and media both at home and globally.

The Regional Forum South East attracts 200+ senior delegates from OEMs, suppliers and industry leaders, making it a must-attend event for those looking to connect and collaborate. This year’s agenda will explore how the sector is responding to the need to accelerate the UK’s Electrical Vehicle (EV) capability, while addressing broader topics around sustainability, connected services and future mobility.

Speakers include senior executives from BMW, Ford of Britain, DAF Trucks, Wrightbus and Fortescue Zero, alongside SMMT Chief Executive Mike Hawes.
