SAP Automotive Symposium - November 16-17, 2011 in Mainz, Germany
"Setting the pace for future mobility"

The SAP Automotive Symposium took place this year on November 16-17, 2011 in Mainz under the motto "Setting the pace for future mobility".

Over 600 CIOs/IT/specialists and managers from the automotive sector participated in the symposium. The expert audience was informed on the newest products, services, technolgies as well as solutions by SAP and its partners via customer talks, live theater, whiteboard sessions and guided tours.

In our customer talk, Dr. Gunther Reinhard from Schöck Bauteile GmbH was able to report, to a well filled auditorium, on his company's very successful cooperation with MHP with regard to a joint sales controlling project. Together, we successfully realised a VCO cockpit with SAP business objects as part of this project.

Our "SAP goes 3D – MHP Augmented Maintenance Manager" talk was a big crowd-drawer. With this, we are now able to transfer 3D graphics directly from the SAP system to an iPad. You can virtually click through a factory and have the current status of its machines displayed to you. Ivo Schwarz and Jakob Wößner were able to very competently explain this to the SAP Automotive Symposium visitors.

Our guided tours at the MHP stand were another crowd favourite. Thomas Grabscheid presented, amongst other things, the topic "How to speed up product development" in an extremely vivid manner using a "Transparent prototype" (1:5 Porsche RFID model). Overall, MHP was represented by a remarkable ten technical contributions at the SAP Automotive Symposium.

The large number of technical contributions shows that the outstanding competence of MHP is in demand!
