MHP Management and Partners Support Food Banks with a Donation Totaling 100,000 Euro

Solidarity in Times of Crisis

Ludwigsburg – The Covid-19 pandemic is a major challenge that is having a huge impact on everyone but it has been particularly difficult for people who already depend on the support of others. And the situation is currently getting worse for these groups. With this in mind, the management and partners at management and IT consultancy MHP have decided to make private donations to food banks in the cities where the Porsche subsidiary has its sites. These include Munich, Ingolstadt, Nuremberg, Frankfurt am Main, Essen, Wolfsburg, Berlin and Ludwigsburg, where the main MHP headquarters are located. Donations will also be sent to charities in countries where MHP has its subsidiaries.

Half of the total amount is being donated privately by the top management team at the consultancy company: The MHP partners are taking the initiative and have donated their bonus for the 2019 financial year to support this good cause. CFO Marc Zimmermann also made a personal donation. Dr. Ralf Hofmann, CEO of MHP, privately donated 1,600 euro to food banks at MHP’s sites in Germany. MHP doubled the donations from the partners, bringing together a total of 100,000 euro.

Dr. Ralf Hofmann had the following to say: “Since we were founded in 1996, we have taken our social responsibility seriously and helped where we can. During this crisis in particular, our leadership principle ”Time to share” has become especially relevant. We have taken this principle to heart and kept our word. The private fund-raising campaign, the sense of solidarity and the commitment of the partners in Germany and abroad is not something to be taken for granted; it makes Marc and me very proud!”

Corporate social responsibility (CSR) has been one of MHP’s strategies since 2020. Ingo Guttenson, Head of Brand Management, Sponsoring and CSR says: “As a company, we firmly believe that we must take responsibility in this area. Also, CSR allows us to harmonize our financial, ecological and social objectives. These objectives guide our actions and help us to implement our CSR philosophy of “creating sustainable value together.” Supporting food banks – and therefore supporting people who urgently need help in the current situation – is a good example of this philosophy in action.”
