Europe's largest event for city changers
Cities are the key to a sustainable future for our planet. Significant changes are essential in order to fight climate change and social injustice. Hundreds of companies, communities and start-ups, as well as NGOs, therefore gather every year to highlight the importance of these issues and to work together to find solutions – both on a technical level and on a social level – for more sustainable cities. The reason for this gathering is the URBAN FUTURE Global Conference, Europe's largest event for city changers. This year's conference will take place between May 22 and 24, 2019 in Oslo, the European Green Capital for 2019.
As a major partner for the UFGC, MHP will hold presentations and will have a stand on-site. Our stand team is looking forward to a thought-provoking exchange of ideas. We will show you how we are contributing to future-proof and sustainable urbanization thanks to our mobility expertise.
You can also experience exciting and practical presentations from our mobility experts: Holger Eggerichs will discuss the topic "MaaS: Salvation or tech's hostile takeover?". MaaS is without doubt one of the most interesting and topical subjects when it comes to urban mobility. Global players and numerous start-ups are driving mobility innovation forwards in the name of sustainability. But can MaaS meet these high expectations?
You also should not miss the presentation by Marcus Willand on the topic of "Digitization: The biggest driver of change in mobility". The term "mobility digitalization" often makes us think about apps that help us to get from A to B. But digitalization is much more than that: It is a development that is fundamentally changing the way that we offer and use mobility. A development that is turning the distribution of power among the key players on its head. Digitalization is changing everything!
Put this event in your calendar now and you can look forward to three innovative and diverse days, filled with inspiring presentations, seminars and field trips into the Norwegian capital.
