Smart City & Future Mobility

06/12/2018 MHPDeepDive

Everything is becoming intelligent - but how?

Cities are changing through digitalization - This applies for mobility anyway. But how can the interaction between smart cities and smart vehicles be shaped in a seamless manner? What are the use cases? And how is it all organized - in addition to daily business?

In our MHPDeepDive "Smart City & Future Mobility", we will above all present examples from the smart city of Ludwigsburg - the LivingL(a)B - that are achieving added value for citizens, companies, visitors, educational institutions and the city administration itself. This includes intelligent parking and autonomous vehicles, as well as energy storage facilities at central hubs with which electric vehicles can be sustainably supplied. On the basis of these concrete cases, we will answer the question as to what conditions must be met in order to shape the urban mobility of the future. For as a founding partner of the LivingL(a)B network, MHP is promoting projects to connect the mobility of the future to the quality of life.

This MHPDeepDive will be concerned with the following themes, among others:

  • Partner relationships for the future: The LivingL(a)B of the smart city of Ludwigsburg
  • Urban mobility of the future: Will we only just be cycling and sharing?
  • Examples, examples, examples
  • LivingL(a)B: Organization and lessons learned
