Best practice: Data in the minefield between innovation and investment protection

Data is not only a by-product of the processes, but new business models are possible based on data and its analysis. Data has become an important asset. In a review of our MHP Big Data Future Studie, we reflect on the predicted trends at the time and take stock – what has occurred, not occurred, and what has been added. The issues examined range from current trends, technology, and architecture through to problems in the organization, such as agility and governance.

In our MHPPitstop, we show you using select examples from practice where data makes sense in transformation and where it doesn't.

This MHPPitstop will be concerned with the following themes, among others:

  • Business value: Robot and artificial intelligence are close to becoming the mainstream
  • Architecture: The Data Warehouse is dead, long live the Data Warehouse
  • Data governance: So your data lake does not turn into a data swampland
  • Data: Big or Smart Data?
