Bosch Connected World 2018

Meet us at Bosch Connected World and have discussions with our experts.

This year's Bosch Connected World will take place from 21. - 22.02.2018 at STATION-Berlin. As every year, the conference will revolve around the theme of the Internet of Things - there will be interesting presentations, a hackathon and an accompanying exhibition.

Our experts Fabian Kehle and Stefan Muderack will give presentations on location on the topics "Connectivity in the city of tomorrow" and "Sound Detective – Predictive Maintenance Based on Sound Measurements". They are looking forward to discussing these themes with you.

You can also experience two interesting exhibits at our exhibition booth :

Firstly, the AR Data Explorer. The AR Data Explorer is a UI study (user interface) intended to ensure that complex data structures can be experienced in an intelligible manner. Filter and sorting criteria can be changed by means of a game board and figures. The result is shown by means of augmented reality directly above the game board.

Secondly, the ParkingSpotter – Visual Detection. Do you also waste valuable time every day looking for a parking space? We have found the solution using an example street! In a cul-de-sac in Ludwigsburg, there is a constant flow of cars looking for a parking space. Each time a car reverses out of the cul-de-sac, other drivers think a space has just become free. This will now be recorded by cameras. Symbols at the entrance to the cul-de-sac will make clear whether a parking space is available. The result: Less traffic, less danger for pedestrians, less exhaust fumes, less time wasted – all benefiting the town.
