Corporate Social Responsibility
With Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), companies, organizations and institutions commit themselves above and beyond their legal obligations in order to voluntarily assume social responsibility. A key feature of CSR is that corporate responsibility goes beyond compliance with legal regulations. CSR supports the interaction of businesses, society and politics, and strengthens both the economy and society. CSR is also gaining increasing importance – also in terms of the assumption of corporate and social responsibility, as well as the competitiveness of a company.
For MHP, CSR is an active part of the corporate philosophy! At the MHP locations we are mainly involved in public, social, cultural, and academic areas, as well as sports.
As a successful commercial enterprise MHP has already been taking its social and corporate responsibility very seriously for 15 years. Within the framework of our MHPCares program, we support social projects and institutions over the long term that have a direct relevance for our employees.
Nepal Hilfe e. V.
Our colleague Isabel spent four weeks working at the Mount View English School in Nepal, which was founded by "Nepal Hilfe direkt e.V." – always bearing in mind, by her own account, the MHP values empathy, partnership, entrepreneurship and passion. This private school in the south of Nepal was established by the non-profit organization "Nepal Hilfe direkt e.V.", which was founded in 2001, with the aim of providing children on location with a school education.

Ruandahilfe e. V.
The association Ruandahilfe e.V. provides trauma therapy for women in and around Kigali. The project was originally initiated after the genocide of the Tutsi perpetrated by the Hutu in Rwanda in 1994. Since then, diverse groups have been created to provide women with the opportunity to talk about their experiences during the genocide, or themes such as domestic violence, HIV etc. The aim is to break the spiral of violence and to help the women to achieve self-determination and a happy life! MHP has been supporting this project with the aid of our colleague Eckart.

Kinderbrücke Hannover e. V.
Our colleague Hagen started in the "Baltic Sea Circle" rally in 2018. During the tour, all the participants collected donations for charity projects selected by themselves. Hagen used the rally to support the Kinderbrücke Hannover association. Since 2013, the association has been giving special experiences to children and youths from the city, who would otherwise not be able to afford tickets for Bundesliga football matches, swimming pools, circuses or GPS scavenger hunts.
