Ludwigsburg, 26.09.2013. The MHP RIESEN held a press conference in the "Spielpavillon" (Games Pavillon) of the Ludwigsburg Residential Palace just before the start of the new Beko Basketball Bundesliga season.

Dr. Ralf Hofmann (Chairman of the Executive Board, MHP)
Ingo Guttenson (Head of Marketing, MHP) as well as
Michael Stockton (Point guard, MHP RIESEN)
were all present to discuss the expectations and sporting targets for the coming season. For head coach, John Patrick, it is not just about the standings. He wants the newly formed troop to give a much better account of itself than the RIESEN did last season. "We want to show how much it means to us to play for this team, we will work hard and be good ambassadors for Ludwigsburg" emphasised Patrick.
"If we put in the hard work - and I can promise you we will - then the results will come." explained Alexander Reil. The team must get this feeling across to the fans. It is very important that the MHP RIESEN are a real team and not just "players" continued club president Reil. He is sure that coach John Patrick will be able to find the right balance between the players enjoying their game and the required seriousness and singlemindedness needed for success.
