Düsseldorf/Freiberg a. N., 24.05.2011 – Mieschke Hofmann und Partner (MHP) has won the "Best of Consulting 2011" award of the WirtschaftsWoche magazine in the category "Information technology. This prize was awarded for our successful cooperation with the kitchen manufacturer Bulthaup. MHP examined and restructured the IT infrastructure, IT organisation and service contracts of the company from Bodenkirchen in Bavaria, resulting in a 55% reduction in the company's IT operating costs. At the same time, the MHP consultants developed, together with Bulthaup employees, an IT service catalogue, which will, in future, regulate the IT services at all locations of the company.

This was the second year that the WirtschaftsWoche magazine has held this competition. In this connection, academic partners initially evaluate the projects, submitted for the five individual categories, based on quantitative and qualitative criteria and decide on 5 finalists per category. An expert jury then discusses these finalist projects and selects one winner per category. The other categories for the consultancy award, in addition to information technology, are competitive strategy, marketing, sales and innovation, personnel management and organisation as well as supply chain management.
